Sonali Bank has started their Online Any Branch & SMS Banking through a Launching ceremony at Hotel Sheraton on 21st July, 2009. Mr. S. A. Chowdhury, CEO & M.D of Sonali bank was present as the chief guest and from technical partner organizations Mr. Sayeeful Islam Managing Director, Software Shop Limited and Mr.Abu Jafor Khan,Manager, BEXIMCO Computer’s were present as special guest. By these services Sonali bank clients will be able to do their banking transaction from any branch of the bank and also from their mobile handset. SMS banking will facilitate bank’s client to meet their banking needs sitting at home . Mr. Chowdhury , in his speech said that Sonali Bank in his launched a benchmark in the arena of information technology. He hoped that Sonali Bank will work for providing more developed service through rendering Mobile Banking Service side by side online banking.
